Each CERNO data collector is fully self-contained, with 6 UEs, onboard compute & data storage, and inbuilt batteries supporting continuous testing for up to 10 hours.

Each of the UE’s can be band-locked, or set to float; and supports easily-scripted active testing to capture voice and data throughput metrics.

All RF metrics and network parameters from layers 1, 2 & 3 output by the Qualcomm modem are recorded in industry standard QMDL log file format.  

Plus, each CERNO can simultaneously capture RF metrics for Wi-Fi networks.

Because our sampling rates are the highest in the industry, and we don’t bin data, you get higher quality measurements with smoother transitions on plots.

And, CERNO is the only RF measurement platform that tests 5G fully and accurately.  Modems can consume up to 30 watts of power when testing 5G networks, resulting in rapid heat build-up that legacy test tools simply can’t manage.  Throttling and fall back to 4G only mode – without notifying the user – can occur within minutes, rendering test data unreliable.  CERNO has been engineered to effectively manage this heat build-up, ensuring that testing of 5G networks continues unimpeded.
